Archive Policy

Minang Bioscience Journal (MBJ) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published scholarly content. The journal maintains an archiving policy to protect the published academic record and ensure that articles remain accessible to readers and researchers in the future.

1. Digital Preservation

All published articles, issues, and related journal content are maintained in the journal's online publishing system. The journal takes reasonable measures to preserve digital files and maintain continued access to its published content.

2. LOCKSS and CLOCKSS

MBJ supports digital preservation through appropriate third-party archiving and preservation services where available. The journal may participate in LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and/or CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to ensure that published content remains accessible even if the journal's website becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable.

3. Institutional and Repository Archiving

Authors are encouraged to preserve and share permitted versions of their published manuscripts through institutional repositories, subject-based repositories, or other recognized academic repositories, in accordance with the journal's copyright and licensing policies.

4. Long-Term Access

MBJ is committed to maintaining stable access to its published content. In the event of a change in the journal's publishing platform, website, or publisher, reasonable efforts will be made to migrate and preserve all previously published content without compromising its integrity.

5. Preservation of the Scholarly Record

Published articles are considered part of the permanent scholarly record. MBJ does not routinely remove published articles from its online archive. In exceptional circumstances, such as serious ethical violations, legal requirements, or proven cases of research misconduct, an article may be subject to correction, retraction, or removal in accordance with the journal's editorial and publication ethics policies.

6. Access to Archived Content

Archived articles remain freely accessible to readers whenever possible. MBJ aims to ensure that researchers, academics, students, practitioners, and other interested users can continue to access previously published scholarly content for research, educational, and other legitimate academic purposes.
